Nowadays, while there is a war between some major browser that make users can choose the best browser for them, unfortunately we still find some website that do not give a chance to readers to use a browser they like. Many websites (I don’t want to show them), only allow Internet Explorer to be opened correctly, or I.E-only sites. It is really unfair for another browser’s user, especially Linux’ users.

However, there are still another way out regarding this matter. Let’s me explain.

  • Install the program IEs for Linux, created by tatanka (http://www.tatanka.com.br). This program make a “fool way” so your Linux can pretend himself as an Internet Explorer user. It only use a really easy script. It is really easy to install, no need special action, and it is totally free and open source. Now, you can easily browsing any I.E-only sites without problem at all.
  • Another way is by adding an add-on to your Mozilla Firefox. This add-on called User Agent Switcher, created by chrispederic (http://chrispederick.com/work/user-agent-switcher/). You can download it for free, just like another Mozilla Firefox Add-on. This Add-on will hide your Mozilla Firefox information, so anytime you enter the I.E-only sites, they will think that you are an Internet Explorer User.

Those two ways are really easy. It is depend on you to choose the best. happy browsing! :)
