When entering the affiliate marketing business, sometimes we forget some potential things (some of them could be fatal) that can reduce our possibilities to get success in this business. Here are the common mistakes :

Sending traffic/visitor directly to the merchant website.

• This is a fatal error by affiliate marketers beginners. Imagine, we make every effort to promote the product, but all traffic came to be owned by the merchant! It’s ok if the visitor buy the merchant’s product. But, if not? That’s why you need to invite traffic to your own site. Do nothing to track your sales.

• It is important for you to promote a product with a variety of ways (for example: text ads on the site, in the magazine, email, ezine, adwords or advertising on the other sites). After these, YOU MUST KNOW FROM WHICH WAY THE SALES COMES. You must know where your ad campaign and the benefits which only spend money and time. It’s impossible if you do not do some tracking way. The simplest way to tracking your sales is bye creating a different URL (channel) for each type of ad campaign.
