Sometimes, terrible happen to our computer/laptop. It probably because of viruses, crashes, or another reasons. If the terrible goes worse, we often do not have a choice to fix, except re-installing the Windows Application. It is really wasting our time. Thus, once Microsoft Windows has been installed, we also have to re-install another program one by one. Next problem could be happen, regarding activation of some program. Yeah, sometimes we do not remember where did we put the activation data of some program.
However, actually we can pass this activation if we re-installing Microsoft Office. Follow the steps below to re-installing Microsoft Office Without Activation.
- Make sure that you have previously installed Microsoft Office in your computer.
- Before re-installing Microsoft Windows, run the Windows Explorer.
[Start] > [All Programs] > [Accesories] > [Windows Explorer] - Create a new folder to save a backup file.
- Go to folder C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Applications Data\Microsoft Office\Data
- Find files “data.dat” and “data.bak” in that folder. Save those two files into your own folder outside (folder you have created before).
- You can now re-installing the Microsoft Windows.
- Once Windows installed, then you can start the Windows in Safe Mode.
- Copy those two files from your own folder to the new created C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Applications Data\Microsoft Office\Data
- Restart your computer.
- Finish.
So easy, right?
